Fire Up Fraser: Business Burn Off

A Burnable Sculpture Competition at Fraser Fire & Ice

Calling all Fraser-area businesses!

Fire & Ice is turning up the heat in 2026 with a brand-new interactive tradition: the Fire Up Fraser Business Burn Off.

Inspired by the beloved Granby Scarecrow Contest, local businesses are invited to design and build a burnable sculpture or effigy that represents their business or creative spirit. Sculptures will be displayed during the Fire & Ice Festival, then ceremoniously burned in the massive Fire & Ice bonfire on February 14, 2026.

The public will vote for their favorite sculpture throughout the week, and the winning business will take home the Fire Up Fraser Business Burn Off Trophy—plus full bragging rights.

How It Works

  • Register your business and sculpture idea

  • Build a burn-safe sculpture following size and materials guidelines

  • Drop off your sculpture on February 13

  • Share photos on social media and encourage votes

  • Watch it burn (safely and gloriously) at Fire & Ice

Important Dates

  • Social media photos due: February 7, 2026

  • Public voting: February 8–14, 2026

  • Sculpture drop-off: February 13, 2026

  • Winner announced: February 14, 2026 at 5:45 PM

All sculptures must meet safety guidelines and are subject to final approval by event organizers and the fire department.
